The Architecture of Impact

Sierra Leone Global Arm
Our mission is to fill critical gaps in Sierra Leone. By supplementing existing support systems with essentials like food, uniforms, and supplies, we ensure that students can remain in school and focus on their education.

DMV Local Mentorship
We bridge the mentorship gap for teenage girls in the DMV area. Through localized guidance and community-building, we empower young women to navigate their personal and academic journeys with resilience.
Dual Avenues of Empowerment
Sierra Leone Outreach
DMV Mentorship
Strategic Fundraising
Community Through Connection
Funds raised domestically and internationally are used to purchase goods in Sierra Leone, supporting the local economy.
We build confidence and belonging through events, meetups, fun training sessions, field trips, and inspiring conversations. Our mentorship community gives young women space to encourage one another and grow together.
Local Procurement
We supplement school fees and provide nutrition through local vendors every other month.
Scholarships, Internships & Exposure
Direct Delivery
We support educational and career advancement through scholarships and internships, while introducing mentees to new experiences and life skills. For example, Ruth Missions Mentorship Fine Dining exposes our young ladies to dining etiquette and inspirational conversations.
Essentials has directly supported our students, helping over 70 girls graduate from secondary school since 2011.
Dual Impact

We bridge the divide between local and global needs by operating two dedicated arms of empowerment. In the DMV, we provide local mentorship to guide teenage girls through their formative years. In Sierra Leone, we supply the essential tools and food security required for girls to stay in school and build their own futures.
