Ruth International Missions, Inc., is a non-profit organization, focused on supporting women and girls of Sierra Leone and mentoring teenage girls and young ladies in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.
Danita Heathington grew up in Freetown, Sierra Leone and graduated from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone with a Law degree just before the country spiral into the devastating civil war that displaced thousands of people.
As usual in the aftermath of war, women and children, especially girls are vulnerable than others, as in the case of Sierra Leone.
